Anyone knows for sure?Actually, i found the answer now. But this is the only reason I could think of for why the colors in my photos looks kind of grey/green.I have seen some resellers sell different ink for these two systems, but I thought at first it was the same ink, sold with different labels. The CLI-551 for example looked more red, while the CLI-521 looked more magenta.The difference on the drip test is small.
They are also more saturated than on my old MX870 printer, but this is also as expected according to the printer reviews I have seen.So, if anyone wonders. The nozzle test print looks pretty much the same as before, but the photos look much more saturated. I had CLI 521 ink in them before.By the way, I use latex gloves, to avoid looking like an american christmas tree afterwards.Then printed. Then let everything dry over night, then insert the sponge and refill with CLI 551 ink. Cleaned everything in tap water (purified water would maybe be better, at least for the last round of washing, but no problems so far.).
